Markets remained under pressure as Nifty logged its steepest FY26 fall. Tata Power, Dr Reddy’s, Dixon, Torrent Power, Berger Paints, Nazara Technologies and Vodafone Idea remained key stocks in focus.
The Nifty extended its losing streak for a fourth straight session on Tuesday, tumbling 436 points to close at 23,379 — its biggest single-day fall of the ongoing financial year. Over the past four sessions, the benchmark index has shed more than 1,100 points from its recent peak of 24,482, reflecting strong bearish pressure in the market. The sell-off also dragged the index below the key 23,500 support zone, where it continues to trade weakly.
