Following Ideas & Traders
TradingView is also a social network for traders.
Thousands of traders share their trade setups, market analysis, and strategies publicly. You can follow them, learn from their posts, and even engage with their content. It’s a great way to see how others think, especially if you’re still learning.
What Are "Ideas" on TradingView?
An Idea is a chart or post published by a trader, explaining:
- What they see in the market (trend, pattern, breakout, etc.)
- Their reasoning behind the setup
- Possible entry/exit levels, targets, or risks
Ideas are often visual showing actual charts marked with trendlines, support/resistance levels, or indicators.
You can:
- Read the full explanation.
- View the chart setup.
- Like, comment, or follow the trader who posted it.
How to Find Trade Ideas
- Open TradingView
- In the left sidebar, click “Ideas.”
- Use the search bar or filters to explore:
- Specific stock symbols (e.g., NIFTY, TCS)
- Categories like “Long,” “Short,” “Breakout,” or “Technical Analysis”
- Time-based filters (Today, This Week, etc.)
You’ll now see a feed of trading ideas from users across the world.
