KPI Green Energy FY26 Profit Rises 57%, Recommends ₹0.40 Dividend

KPI Green Energy posted 46% Q4 profit growth to ₹155 crore with strong revenue and margin gains. Shares jumped 10%. The company also announced a total ₹0.40 per share dividend.
KPI Green Energy reported a 46% rise in net profit for the March quarter, with earnings coming in at ₹155 crore compared to ₹104 crore a year ago. The strong performance pushed the stock up 10%, hitting an intraday high of ₹501 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday. At 3:22 pm, KPI Green Energy shares were up 6.27% on the BSE, trading at ₹484.45 a piece.
Revenue from operations stood at ₹810 crore in Q4 FY26, up 40% from ₹578 crore in the same period last year. The company said the growth was driven by strong execution across renewable projects and higher contribution from its key segments.
Margin Expansion Drives Earnings
Operating performance showed a sharper improvement. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 80% year-on-year to ₹305 crore from ₹169 crore. The EBITDA margin expanded to 36.6% from 28.3% a year ago. The company attributed the gain to scale benefits, better cost control, and improved operating leverage.
Profit before tax increased 54% to ₹214 crore from ₹139 crore in the year-ago quarter. For FY26, KPI Green Energy reported:

Dividend Announcement
KPI Green Energy has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.25 per equity share along with a special dividend of ₹0.15 per share for FY26, taking the total payout to ₹0.40 per share on a face value of ₹5 each.
The company said the special dividend follows the successful energisation of its 1 GW IPP project. The payout remains subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. KPI management said the year marked progress in its shift towards an asset-backed renewable energy platform.
