Intraday Traders: Best Layouts & Tools

Intraday trading is all about timing, reaction, and clean execution.

You don’t have time for clutter or guesswork. What you need is a setup that helps you:

  • Spot price action clearly
  • Act quickly
  • Manage trades with confidence

In this chapter, we’ll cover:

  • The best TradingView layout for intraday
  • Must-use indicators and tools
  • Pro tips for speed and focus

You can set this up once and save it as “Intraday Layout” for daily use.

Optional:

  • Use RSI (5 or 14) to spot quick reversal zones
  • Use MACD (fast setting) to confirm trend strength

Pin these to your Favorites Bar for one-click access.

  • Turn on Real-Time Bar Replay (for post-trade analysis)
  • Use Alert-based setups (price + indicator alerts combo)
  • Enable Magnet Mode to quickly snap drawings to candles
  • Use Keyboard Shortcuts (/ for indicators, 15 + Enter to change timeframes)
  1. Start of day: Open “Intraday Layout”
  2. Check previous day’s highs/lows using horizontal lines
  3. Add VWAP and 9 EMA to each chart
  4. Mark first 15–30 mins of price action (range breakouts often follow)
  5. Set alerts above resistance or below support
  6. Enter trades based on your setup logic
  7. Use Replay Mode post-market for review

For intraday traders, TradingView becomes your command center.
A clean layout, fast tools, and focused indicators can help you cut noise, act quickly, and stay in control.
