MRF Q4 FY26 Profit Rises 37% To ₹680 Crore; Announces ₹229 Final Dividend

MRF Ltd reported a 37% rise in Q4 standalone net profit to ₹680 crore, driven by higher revenue growth. The company also announced a final dividend of ₹229 per share for FY26.

MRF Ltd on Thursday reported a 37% year-on-year (YoY) rise in standalone net profit for the March quarter at ₹680 crore, helped by higher revenue growth and improved operating performance.

Following the earnings announcement, MRF shares traded nearly 1% higher intraday at ₹1,31,450 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). However, by 2:53 pm, MRF shares fell by 0.30% to ₹1,29,950.

The company’s revenue from operations during the fourth quarter rose 14% to ₹7,908 crore from ₹6,944 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income, including other income, increased to ₹8,041 crore against ₹7,055 crore a year earlier.

Profit before exceptional items and tax climbed 37% to ₹885 crore from ₹645 crore in the year-ago period. After including an exceptional gain of ₹15 crore, profit before tax stood at ₹900 crore, up 39% YoY.

Sequentially, profit remained largely flat. MRF had reported a net profit of ₹679 crore in the December quarter. Revenue slipped marginally from ₹7,934 crore reported in Q3 FY26. The company’s total expenses rose 12% YoY to ₹7,157 crore during the quarter. Key expense components included:

  • Raw material costs, which form the largest share of expenditure, increased 6% to ₹4,945 crore from ₹4,680 crore

  • Employee benefit expenses rose 17% to ₹537 crore

  • Other operating expenses increased 23% to ₹1,231 crore

  • Depreciation for the quarter stood at ₹441 crore, up 2%, while finance costs declined 10% to ₹71 crore

For the full financial year FY26, the company posted an 11% rise in revenue from operations at ₹30,652 crore compared with ₹27,665 crore in FY25. Total income for the year increased to ₹31,140 crore from ₹28,068 crore.

Its annual net profit rose 29% to ₹2,355 crore from ₹1,823 crore in the previous financial year. Profit before tax for FY26 stood at ₹3,133 crore, against ₹2,420 crore a year ago.

The tyre maker’s board also recommended a final dividend of ₹229 per share for FY26. The payout is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting. Including two interim dividends of ₹3 each already paid, the total dividend for FY26 stands at ₹235 per share.
