CreditAccess Grameen shares rise over 10% as GLP grows 14% to ₹29,590 crore and Q4 disbursements increase 28% to ₹8,313 crore. Read ahead to know more.
Shares of CreditAccess Grameen rallied sharply on 7 April 2026 after the company reported a strong business update for Q4 FY26. Growth was visible across the loan book and disbursements, with asset quality also remaining stable.
CreditAccess Grameen shares rose over 10% in early trade. As of 10:38 am, it was trading at ₹1,235.50, up ₹54.90 or 4.65% on the day, after hitting higher levels earlier in the session.
The stock movements also stand out against the recent trend. The stock has fallen about 11% over the past six months and is largely flat in 2026 so far. Over a one-year period, however, it has gained around 30%.
What Drove The Sharp Move In CreditAccess Grameen’s Stock?
According to the update, the business has been steadily growing. The product mix has expanded, lending has increased, and new clients have been added.

Mahi, the company’s digital customer app, added 8.4 lakh users during FY26, taking the total user base to 11.2 lakh.
Retail finance share stood at 18% in March 2026, up from 6% a year ago, supported by better retention and the shift of long-term, well-performing borrowers.
How Is The Company Expanding Its Operations?
CreditAccess Grameen continued to grow its physical network during the year.
The company opened 183 new branches in FY26, including 18 in the March quarter.
As a result, the overall number of branches increased by 8% year over year to 2,236.
The employee count stayed almost unchanged at 21,941, even as the company expanded. This points to a focus on keeping costs in check.
It also shows that the company is trying to grow without adding too much overhead.

What Do Asset Quality and Technical Signals Indicate?
The company reported that its asset quality has normalised across regions. In March 2026, its X-bucket collection efficiency was 99.84%, indicating effective risk management and recovery.
Technical indications point to a change in trend on the market side. The stock has moved above its 50-day exponential moving average, backed by a sharp jump in volumes. Trading activity was more than double the recent average.
