Incoporated in 1991, SBEC Sugar Limited commenced its production of high quality white crystal sugar in 1994. The companys plant is located in the heart of the sugarcane belt of Western UP. The Unit has an installed capacity of 9000 MT of Sugarcane Crushing Per Day.The Company is engaged mainly in the manufacturing and selling of sugar and its related by products. The Company commenced operations in 19902000 with capacities of 3125 TCD and increased to 8000 TCD. During 200102,28 tons boiler with 5 MW turbines were commissioned. Due to continuing losses,, Company could not pay the cane dues to the farmers on time due to which they agitated and disturbed the operations at plant and the management was forced to close down the plant from 8th July,2013 to 2nd August,2013, which affected the administration, repair maintenance work of the plant during the year 201213.The plant started with an initial crushing capacity of 3500 tons of cane crushed per day (TCD), which has been gradually increased to 9,000 TCD in FY24. The first phase to increase the plant capacity upto 9,000 TCD was completed and which became operative from FY 202223.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹631.01 crore and profit touched at ₹-18.61 crore.
