KEC International has secured new orders worth ₹2,518 crore across civil, transmission, transportation, and cable segments. The winning deals indicate good order momentum and diversification of the portfolio.

KEC International has announced new order wins worth ₹2,518 crore across multiple business segments.

Its orders span civil, transmission and distribution (T&D), transportation, and cables and conductors, reflecting the wide-based growth of its operations.

KEC International shares closed at ₹567.95 on 8 April, gaining ₹36.40 or 6.85% on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Stock was on the rise after the announcement, which is a positive sentiment in the market.

The company has achieved a milestone by getting its biggest commercial real estate order with a developer in western India in the civil segment.

KEC successfully received a joint venture bid in the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) project called Kavach in the transportation sector in India.

The transmission and distribution business won various orders abroad, such as transmission lines in Africa, substations and towers in international markets, and supplying hardware and poles in other parts of the world, like Europe and the Americas.

The company was ordered to supply different types of cables and conductors in both domestic and international markets in the cables segment.

The order wins highlight continued demand across infrastructure segments and geographies.

It has diversified its operations by extending to railway safety systems and international power transmission projects and has also improved its domestic portfolio.

The management observed that the big order of the civil segment brings an important client to its portfolio, whereas the orders in international T&D contribute to the geographic diversification.
