Mercury EVTech Limited was initially incorporated in the name of Mercury Metals Limited on July 4, 1986. The name of the Company was changed again to Mercury Capital Limited on February 9, 1994 and is changed to Mercury EVTech Limited on March 30, 2023. The company pioneered in the manufacturing of Electric Scooter, Electric Car, Electric Bus, Electric Vintage car, Electric Golf Car and Electric Vehicles in India. It developed custom electric vehicles for a wide range of applications for the hospitality, industry, golf courses, Club and Resorts etc.The Company amended its main object clause of Memorandum of Association (MOA) and added more objects related to Electronic Vehicle Sector in order to commence this business activities in 202223. The Companys strength lies in the Manufacturing and trading of Electronic Vehicles, related auto parts and accessories and other renewable energies related materials.On May 8, 2024, Company acquired a 65% stake in Traclaxx Tractors Private Limited and further acquired 70% Stake in Haitek Automotive Private Limited on September 30,2024. The Company through its wholly owned subsidiary PowerMetz Energy Pvt. Ltd., has commissioned a 3.2 GW lithiumion battery manufacturing facility at Vadodara Campus in 2025. The Company has further acquired 69.84% Stake in DC2 Mercury Cars Private Limited on January 1, 2025. It has developed separate division in FY 2025 for the RD of Containers.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹93.09 crore and profit touched at ₹7.7 crore.
