Promoted by Eco Hotels UK PLC, Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited was initially incorporated as Sharad Fibres Yarn Processors Limited on July 2, 1987 in Maharashtra. The name of the Company was changed from Sharad Fibres Yarn Processors Limited to Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited on February 20, 2023. Initially, Company engaged in processing, texturising, crimping, spinning, twisting, knitting, manufacturing, exchanging, trading, commission agents, importing and exporting or dealing in fibres, yarn cloth and fabrics made from cotton, wool, silk, artsilk, rayon, nylon, polyester, acrylic or any other natural or manmade and synthetic fibres and yarns. At present, the Company is involved in the business of hotel operations.Eco Hotels consists of four subbrands: The Eco, Eco Xpress, Eco Value and Eco Satva. The Company has three business models, Taking hotels on long term lease to operate them Taking hotels in management contract and EBOT ( Enterprise Build Operate and Trade) is an investment model which involves construction and project management of newly built hotels using 3D volumetric construction technology. During year 2016, BST Exports Private Limited became wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.Through the offer offer process, there was a change in ownership of management, where Eco Hotels UK Plc held 66.43% shares and became the promoter of the Company in November, 2022. Eco Hotels India Private Limited acquired 1,34,70,108 shares of the Company and became the subsidiary of the Company with effect from April 22, 2023. In 202324, Main object of the Company was changed to services and business related to Hotel Industry with prior approval of shareholders.Ecohotels Ayodhya Private Limited was incorporated as a subsidiary of the Company on January 29, 2025. The Eco Satva, Kota, andEcoValue, Kochi became operational in Rajasthan and Kerala in FY25.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹1.09 crore and profit touched at ₹-3.55 crore.
