Shares of Bajaj Housing Finance saw a recovery after strong Q4 numbers, with disbursements and AUM rising over 20%, even as the stock had been under pressure.
After hitting recent intraday lows, Bajaj Housing Finance shares are showing signs of recovery, backed by more than 20% growth in disbursements and assets under management (AUM) in Q4.
Even though the stock has been under pressure in recent weeks, the growth suggests the company’s lending business is still expanding. But is this rebound a sign of improving sentiment or just a short-term bounce?
How Did Bajaj Housing Finance Perform In Q4?
Disbursements at Bajaj Housing Finance rose 23% year-on-year to ₹17,530 crore in Q4 FY26, from ₹14,254 crore a year earlier. At the same time, its AUM grew at a similar rate to about ₹1.4 lakh crore as of 31 March 2026. The company added ₹7,290 crore to its AUM in the fourth quarter, indicating steady growth in its loan book.
Put together, the numbers show that the business continues to see steady traction.
How Have Bajaj Housing Finance’s Shares Reacted To This?
The stock opened at ₹78.50 on 06 March 2026 and saw a noticeable recovery after its recent lows. The stock fell to a record low of ₹72.65 on the NSE on 30 March 2026, nearing its listing price levels, before recovering. The share prices have gone down over 6% in the past month and by more than 35% over the past year.
Bajaj Housing Finance entered the market in September 2024 at ₹70 and opened above ₹180, with more than 110% premium. Since then, the stock has gone through periods of volatility, with recent weakness taking it closer to its issue price.
Even so, the company’s financial performance has remained stable. The total income stood at ₹9,576 crore in FY25, while profit after tax increased to ₹2,163 crore from ₹1,731 crore.

What Should Investors Watch Going Forward?
The Q4 numbers are strong. What matters now is whether that holds in the coming quarters. AUM growth will be one of the key things to watch, along with how interest rates move and how housing demand shapes up.
That said, the focus will also be on how the loan book performs and whether margins stay intact, since fast growth can sometimes put pressure on profits.
