On December 15, 2022, the business of M/s Rajeshbhai Labhubhai Mer, a sole proprietorship concern was taken over by the Company, which consequently got converted into a Public Company, by changing the name to Shoora Designs Limited and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated January 04, 2023 was issued by Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad. The Company is engaged in Manufacturing and trading of diamonds majorly in Surat, Gujarat. Their Operations include sourcing of rough, polished and uncut diamonds from primary and secondary source suppliers in the domestic market and sale of diamond to the retails and wholesale operations in Gujarat and Mumbai. The Company sell diamonds to a customer base spread across domestic markets that includes various jewellery manufacturers, large department store chains, retail stores and wholesalers. Initially, the Company was engaged into the business of Textiles Apparel Industry.Since, year 2022, the Company has engaged in the business of procuring rough diamonds through suppliers, internally planning and mapping rough diamonds, and is outsouring the process of cleaving, laser cutting, and polishing from local jobworkers in domestic market of Surat, and is selling of the said polished cutdiamonds to the wholesalers or retailers with business concentration predominantly in Surat, Gujarat, and the newlyexplored market of Mumbai, Maharashtra. A substantial majority of cut and polished diamonds are sold to diamond wholesalers and the jewellery manufacturers in the domestic market of Surat and Mumbai. The revenue from sale of the diamonds is generated through offline market, and through online platform accessible at https://www.shooradesigns.com/shop/. The online market facilitates and provides the customers to browse variety of diamonds through its catalogue, which in turn provide the customers with the price data for each of the products.In August 2023, Company made an IPO of its securities by issuing 4,23,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each and raising funds to Rs 20.30 Crore through fresh issue.
