Optimus Finance Limited was originally incorporated in the name of Kalali Finance and Leasing Company Limited on February 11, 1991. The Company obtained Certificate for Commencement of Business on April 8, 1991 and thereafter, the name of Company changed from Kalali Finance and Leasing Company Limited to Transpek Finance Limited on June 23, 1992. Again, the Company name got changed from Transpek Finance Limited to Optimus Finance Limited on January 11, 2016. The Company is engaged in the business of granting Loans and making Investments. Its subsidiary, namely Maximus International Limited (MIL) is engaged in the business of importing and exportinglubricant oils and different types of base oils. The Company acts as a Merchant Exporter and Sourcing Company with a niche focus on lubricants base oils. Since its inception, the Company has been functioning as a subsidiary of Transpek Industry Ltd and offering financial services, such as Leasing and Hire Purchase, Bills Discounting, Inter Corporate Deposits and has recently introduced activities like Auto Finance, Equity Research and Investments. Further, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) of the Company in the name of Maximus Infra Ventures Limited was incorporated on 11th July 2024. The Company planned a major expansion of its Leasing and Hire Purchase activities with thrust in financing Plant Machinery and automobiles. It proposed in expanding the business in the area of Bills Discounting, Stock Market operations, etc.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹160.19 crore and profit touched at ₹9.6 crore.
