Gretex Industries Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company with the name Heritage Barter Private Limited on 16 July, 2009. Subsequently, Company name was changed to Gretex Industries Private Limited on 7th February 2013. It then got converted into a Public Company reflecting the change in name of the Company to Gretex Industries Limited on 20th November 2013. The Company became a notable entity in the Musical Instruments (MI), Professional Audio (PA), and AudioVisual (AV) segments. At present, Company is engaged in the business of Trading of musical instruments.Initially, Company engaged into knitting activities and in manufacturing of hosiery which includes wollycoat, thermal innerwear, leggings, etc. . The product profile includes production of fabric by using Interlock, Rib, Reversible, Fleece, Polyfill techniques. The Company manufacture Sinker using Lycra yarns. The manufacturing facility is situated at Jalan Industrial Complex in Domjur Area in the district of Howrah, which is one of the oldest Industrial Complex nearby Kolkata. The promoters purchased the shares of the Company in 2010 from the erstwhile promoters. In October 2012, the Company established manufacturing unit at Jalan Industrial Complex, Howrah. The business from operations started by manufacturing of fabric and hosiery garments like thermal innerwear and leggings in year 201314. It signed an agreement with Rupa Company Limited to work as a Job Worker for their products in July, 2013. It started commercial production for job work in March, 2014, purchased Machinery from China for manufacturing of Syncer, Rib with Lycra Fabric for production of Leggings TShirts in March, 2015 and launched new brands such as Lekme Coolking, Lekme Leggings and Lekme Thermal Wear in May, 2015.The Company came out with an Initial Public Offer on October 05, 2016 by raising funds aggregating to Rs 2.104 Crores Fresh Issue Equity Shares and by issuing 9,24,000 Equity Shares through Offer for Sale.The Company acquired the business in August 2017, officially entering the distribution of highquality musical instruments and related products. It inaugurated Indias largest flagship Yamaha showroom in Mumbai in 2023. The Company ventured into the home automation segment by acquiring the distribution rights for Hoggar Home Automation in West Bengal in 2024. In 2025, Company launched Jam Square, a community platform featuring curated jam sessions held in Mumbai and Pune. The Company maintained and expanded its exclusive distribution arrangements with globally recognized brands including Yamaha, DAddario, Promark, Evans Drumheads, IA Stands, Boya, Gappu, and Beta 3. Over 1,600 students introduced to music literacy in 2025.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹36.95 crore and profit touched at ₹1.52 crore.
