Genpharmasec Limited was originally incorporated as Public Limited Company on 16th November, 1992 in Gujarat as Adi Rasayan Limited. The Company had received Certificate for Commencement of Business from ROC, Gujarat on November 20, 1992. Further, the name of Company was changed from Adi Rayasan Limited to Genpharmasec Limited on 27 November, 2018. Thereafter, the name of the Company was once again changed from Generic Pharmasec Limited to Genpharmasec Limited on 25 October, 2021 a fresh Certificate of Incorporation upon the name change was obtained from the Registrar of Companies at Mumbai. The company is dealing primarily in pharmaceutical activities / services and trading in equity shares. The Company implemented a project to manufacture organic and inorganic chemicals, dyes and pigments, at Panoli, Gujarat. Initially, it started as a manufacturer and trader of organic and inorganic chemicals, dyes and pigments and from 2018 onwards, it shifted business activities to buying, selling and distribution of all kinds of pharmaceutical, medicinal and medicated preparations and decided to venture into the securities market. In 2019, Company focused to the lucrative medical and diagnostics device segment. The Company tied up with Abbott Point of Care Corporation INC, USA for distribution of their niche diagnostic equipment namely, iSTAT 1 Analyzer which is a handheld blood analyzer exclusively used in ICUs and ICCUs of hospitals for immediate test results.In FY 202324, Company has obtained distribution rights from Abbott Point of Care, USA for distribution of their iSTAT Analysers and its Cartridges all over India. The Directors of the Company are consistently making efforts to expand the business activities as depending exclusively one Company would result in stagnation of sales in the coming years. Besides these efforts, Company has started directly importing Cartridges from Abbott POC, USA which has increased its profitability to a great extent.The Company has formed a whollyowned subsidiary namely, M/s. Clinigenome India Private Limited to establish clinical laboratories in various major cities to capture everexpanding and lucrative diagnostic segment. It also has established a subsidiary in Dubai, UAE in which Company holds 52% shareholding. The Company has on 25th July, 2025 acquired the 70% stake in Derren Healthcare Private Limited (DHPL), making DHPL a subsidiary of the Company.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹36.78 crore and profit touched at ₹1.23 crore.
