Dam Capital Advisors Limited was originally incorporated as S. S. Kantilal Ishwarlal Sharebrokers and Investors Private Limited as a Private Limited Company at Bombay, India, dated May 7, 1993, issued by the RoC. The Company name was changed to S. S. Kantilal Ishwarlal Securities Private Limited and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated April 22, 1994 was issued by the RoC. Subsequently, the name of the Company was further changed to IDFCSSKI Securities Private Limited, dated October 24, 2007. Thereafter, the status converted into a Public Company and the name was changed to IDFCSSKI Securities Limited, dated March 10, 2008. Further, the Company name was changed to IDFC Securities Limited on March 12, 2010 and later on to DAM Capital Advisors Limited vide fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated July 28, 2020, issued by the RoC.Under the leadership of Dharmesh Anil Mehta, a veteran investment banker with over 25 years of work experience, DAM Capital is the fastest growing investment bank in India with a market share of 12.1% based on number of initial public offerings and qualified institutional placements undertaken by them as the Book Running Lead Manager in 2024. The Company provide financial solutions in areas of investment banking comprising equity capital markets (ECM), mergers and acquisitions (MA), private equity (PE), structured finance advisory and institutional equities comprising broking and research.The Company is engaged in the business of share and stock broking for both cash segment and Derivatives segment and is a member of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and the BSE Limited. The activities of the Company include providing equity research and stock broking services to Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) and Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs). The Company is also registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as category I, Merchant Banker, engaged in providing Investment Banking services like Advisory services, IPO Underwriting, Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), fund raising and Structured finance.The Companys whollyowned Subsidiary, DAM Capital (USA) Inc., ), incorporated in New York, USA is registered as a BrokerDealer with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and is a member of Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). Company came up with its initial public offer of 29,690,900 equity shares having the face value of Rs 2 each by raising funds aggregating to Rs 840.25 Crore in December 2024 via offer for sale.During the year 202425, the main objectives of the business were expanded to include Merchant Banking, Investment Banking, and Research Consulting. The Company incorporated DAM Asset Management Limited, as wholly owned subsidiary of the Company in FY25. A total of 268 IPOs were launched during the year 2025, including 90 Main Board listings and 178 SME platform listings, collectively raising around Rs 1.67 Lac Crores.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹250.21 crore and profit touched at ₹103.78 crore. As of Dec '25, Dam Capital Advisors’s market capitalisation stood at ₹1,438.39 crores. Shareholding as of Dec '25 shows promoters holding 40%, with FIIs at 1.8%, DIIs at 9.8%, and public at 48.4%.
