ABS Marine Services Ltd originally incorporated as ABS Marine Services Private Limited a Private Limited Company dated October 27, 1992, issued by the Registrar of Companies, Tamil Nadu was subsequently, changed to ABS Marine Services Limited and upon conversion into Public Company, fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued by the RoC on October 23, 2023.The Company is engaged in ship owning and ship management of own ships and of others. It provide crew management services to ships comprising Oil Tankers, Gas Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Passenger Vessels Offshore Support vessels, Harbour Crafts and High Speed Crafts. Their customers are primarily comprised of Government of India, large industrial concerns, public sector undertakings, port authorities and private sector and the existing business is divided into four business divisions comprising of Ship Owning, Ship Management, Marine Services and Port Services.ABS Marine Services was started by diligent promoter, Capt. P B Narayanan, in the Shipping Industry. The Company in 2004, established Epsom Shipping commenced Ship Owning activities under Epsom Shipping with the first purchase of Offshore Support Vessel Epsom 1. In 2006, it designed and built the MultiPurpose Dive and Rov Support M.V. ATLA in Sarawak, Malaysia.In 2014, the Company built and delivered new DP2 MultiPurpose Offshore Supply Vessel M.V. Celestial at the Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry, China, which is owned by Epsom Shipping India Pvt Ltd (Subsidiary Company). It acquired one Offshore Support Vessel from Milaha, Qatar in 2015 and started 4 Offshore vessels. In 2019, it further achieved a milestone in purchasing ABS Amelia Vessel and Vessel ERIN in 2022.The Company started operations with two offshore vessel management and as of December 31, 2023, they has 5 owned vessels comprising of 2 advanced offshore vessels serving the Oil Gas sector 3 Harbour Crafts serving the Indian Ports sector. In addition, they are carrying out total ship management of 12 vessels on behalf of Government, public sector undertakings, private companies and port authorities. They are also providing crew management services to a further 24 ships comprising Oil Tankers, Gas Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Passenger Vessels and High Speed Crafts.The Company came up with a public issue by allotting 63,50,000 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each and raised a fresh issue of 96.28 crore on 15 May 2024. In 2025, Company inducted two technologically advanced DP2 offshore vessels, Ocean Diamond and Emerald, by increasing highvalue deployment capacity. The Company further developed digital compliance, fleet monitoring, crew management, and reporting platformsimproving visibility, transparency, and operational efficiency.
