Rediff has filed draft papers for an IPO through the confidential route. As per sources, it aims to raise ₹600–800 crore, as it shifts focus to AI, payments, and digital platforms after its 2024 acquisition.
Rediff.com India Ltd has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) through the confidential pre-filing route, taking a step towards a public listing.
The filing was made with SEBI, Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), parent AvenuesAI Ltd said in a stock exchange disclosure on Tuesday.
People aware of the development said the proposed Initial Public Offering (IPO) may raise between ₹600 crore and ₹800 crore. The final size is yet to be decided and will depend on market conditions and regulatory clearances.
Shift From Legacy To AI Platform
The filing comes as Rediff reshapes its business model. The company is moving away from its earlier identity as an internet portal to focus on artificial intelligence (AI)-led digital services. Rediff became a subsidiary of AvenuesAI, earlier known as Infibeam Avenues Ltd, after its acquisition in 2024.
Since then, the business has been integrated with the parent’s operations. The company said it has expanded into multiple areas, including:
-
AI-led digital payments
-
Enterprise software solutions
-
Content platforms
Focus On Payments And Digital Stack
The company is also building a digital ecosystem using AI and cloud-based tools, according to AvenuesAI. The company has also received a unified payments interface (UPI) license from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), opening the door for its entry into real-time payments.
