Why does my P&L on TradingView differ from Kotak Neo?
TradingView calculates profit or loss based on the average fill price of the current position and the latest traded price (LTP).
Profit shown in chart and position row in TradingView is calculated as:
Profit = (LTP − Average Fill Price) × Quantity
Because of this, if you have executed multiple buy and sell trades in the same instrument, TradingView may show profit or loss based only on the current averaged position.
Kotak Neo records closed trades separately with booked P&L, which may result in differences between the profit shown on TradingView and Kotak Neo.
