What is 'Global Exit'?
Global Exit lets you set a single exit rule that applies to all strategies currently listed in the Open tab.
Once enabled, Global Exit continuously monitors the combined total P&L of all the strategies present on Open & Closed Tab. (Realised + Unrealised P&L) and exits them together when any one of the configured conditions is met.
Global Exit applies to strategies in Active, Paused, and Repair states.
You can configure Global Exit using:
- Book Profit – Exit all strategies when total profit reaches a specified amount
- Stop Loss – Exit all strategies when total loss reaches a specified amount
- Exit Time – Exit all strategies at a specific time of a day, it is only applicable for the day
When a Global Exit condition is triggered:
- All open strategies are exited immediately
- Their status changes to Closed
Examples
- Exit all strategies when Total Profit reaches ₹2,000
- Exit all strategies when Total Loss reaches ₹2,500
- Exit all strategies today at 3:15 PM, regardless of P&L
Important Notes
- Global Exit is disabled automatically at the start of the next trading day
- You can set or modify Global Exit targets again after 8:00 AM
- Global Exit gets reset once it gets triggered
- Global Exit works as an overall-level risk control, independent of individual strategy exit rules
📌 Think of Global Exit as an emergency or day-level safety switch for all your running strategies.
