What happens to my MTF position in case of Bonus Corporate action in the stock?

In case you have an open position in MTF and the stock declares a bonus:

1. Your existing position remains unaffected, as the bonus share credited will be under MTF itself. These shares are auto pledged, however, you must monitor your margin
2. If you sell your open MTF shares between the record date and bonus credit date, it may lead to a margin shortfall as the bonus shares will then be credited to your beneficiary account, and not under the MTF product type. As a result, your account may reflect a debit, which must be cleared on priority.
