Why was my order Rejected?
Below are some of the most common rejection reasons which you may encounter –
RMS:Margin Exceeds | Insufficient Funds: You need ₹[AMOUNT] more to place this order.Please add funds or collateral margin to place this order. |
Admin stopped AMO | Cannot place After Market Order (AMO) during market hours: Trying to place an AMO Order? AMO cannot be placed during market hours (9:15 AM - 3:30 PM) or pre-market hours (9:00 AM - 9:15 AM). |
RMS:Blocked for CRUDEOILOPTFUTmcx_fo Expiry Date: 2025-03-17Remarks:BLOCKED DUE TO EXPIRY block type: NON-SQROFF | Order not allowed for Contract near expiry: Order not allowed as the contract is too close to expiry. Please select the same strike price with a later expiry date to proceed. |
RMS:Rule: Check T1 holdings including TT/BE/Z/T/TS | Insufficient Quantity to place this order: You do not have the sufficient holdings to place this order. You can try placing the order with lesser quantity. To know your available quantity you can check your Positions/Holdings/Open Orders. |
RMS:Square Off Order Margin Exceeds | Order rejected as it will lead to margin shortfall: This order is leading to a short ₹[AMOUNT] in required margin. To fix this: 1) Add more funds 2) Close your sell positions first or 3) Use the 'Square Off All' option. |
