Sanmit Infra Limited was initially established as SMR Universal Softech Limited in April, 2000 focusing on knowledge management in the area of development of HRD software, software training and HRD consulting. The Companys name was changed to Asia HR Technologies Limited in 2004 and was further changed to Sanmit Infra Limited on May 15, 2013. Established in 2000, Sanmit Infra Ltd. is a dynamic and diversified company engaged in multiple critical sectors, including petroleum product supply, biomedical waste recycling, infrastructure and real estate development, and most recently, bitumen emulsion and road construction materials. The Company considering the slowdown in reality sector and considering the experiences of promoters started trading business of Petroleum product. The turn over is mainly from the trading activities of the petroleum products. Company also started venturing into the waste management activities of medical biproducts.In Apr. 2001, it came out with a public issue of 50,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a premium of Rs 10 per share aggregating to Rs 10 crore for acquiring software developement company SMR based in Malaysia, to provide funds for the setup of software development facility, to set up office at Madras, Gurgaon, USA and Kaulam Lampur and to provide funds for the development of ecommerce and businesstobusiness solutions countrywide.Companys petroleum and biomedical waste businesses serve critical industrial and public health functions. The new bitumen and bituminous byproducts manufacturing segment contributes to road infrastructure development across India. The company is in the process of acquiring an existing well established software development company Specialist Management Resources Sdb Bdh (SMR) based in Malaysia with fully owned subsidiaries in Australia and Singapore.
