RKEC Projects Limited was originally incorporated on April 01, 2005 as a Private Limited Company as RKEC Projects Private Limited. The Company, after its incorporation acquired the running business of proprietorship firm of its Promoter Mr. Radhakrishna Garapati with effect from April 01, 2006 i.e. RK Engineers Contractors. Further, it converted the status into a Public Limited Company and the name was changed to RKEC Projects Limited on November 10, 2016.RKECs core business is designing and undertaking construction projects such as Bridges, Ports, dams, highrise structures, airports, cross water, roads, highways, Oil and gas Pipelines, complexes and environmental structures across India. The Company has attained good reputation among its clients because of its track record, experienced members and a proven strength on delivery norms across its all spectrum of services. The Company has entered into projects for diverse range of clients including Defence sector, Railways, Ports, Adani Port, Vedanta Ltd, IVRCL Limited, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited and ESSAR.The Company came up with IPO by issuing 63,78,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each and raised funds aggregating to 28.7 crores, comprising a fresh issue of 46,78,000 equity shares aggregating to Rs 21.05 crore and the offer for sale of 17,00,000 equity shares aggregating to Rs 7.65 crores on September 28, 2017.The Company completed two projects amounting to Rs 284.06 Cr during FY 202021. In 202324, Company completed Repair of Jetty Fenders at 330 mtrs Long CG Jetty under GE Haddo at Port Blair, SWIII: Vijayawada Division Provision of Improvements to Platform surfaces at Eluru, Chirala, Bapatla and Tenali Railway Stations under ABS Scheme in DEN/Central/BZA Jurisdiction. (JV) CSA Works at HPPL Haldia DT Panagarh RT, Schedule1, Construction of Balance works of Major Bridge over Middle Strait Creek between Km. 106.590 to km 108.553 of NH04 connecting South Andaman Baratang Island in the Union Territory of Andaman Nicobar Islands on EPC Basis, Hydraulic Rig SR60. In FY 2025, Company has completed major ongoing projects comprising the construction of new 4Lane Bridge (2x12.5M Wide Twin TwoLane Structures) Over River Ganga at Downstream of Farakka Barrage, Reconstruction of N1N3 Jetty at Vishakhapatnam, Provision of 3 Lane Slipway 500 Ton Capacity at Port Blair, Development of Fishery Harbour at Veraval (Phase II) in Gir district of Somnath, Refurbishment and upgradation of outfitting Jetty, Crane Track and Services at Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, Vishakhapatnam, installation commissioning of TLF Skid at Kochi LNG Terminal, etc.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹428.79 crore and profit touched at ₹20.04 crore.
