K P Energy Limited, formerly known as K P Buildcon Limited, is part of a KP Group which is founded by Faruk Gulambhai Patel in 1994. K P Energy Limited was originally incorporated as Private limited Company on 8 January, 2010 and then converted into Public Limited Company on 11 May, 2015.KP Energy Limited is a leading provider of Balance of Plant (BoP) solutions for the wind energy industry. The Company is engaged in Wind Farm development, development of Wind power projects and allied services related to it along with generation of electricity through wind power generating assets and operation and maintenance services of wind power projects primarily in India. The Company essentially works on projects in Gujarat, India. For the BoP component of the project, KP Energys endtoend solution for wind farm development comprises services such as site identification, site preparation, construction erection, power evacuation, and operations maintenance. KP Energy plays a critical role in coordinating a wide range of activities related to utilityscale wind farm development.In 201516, the Company commissioned 31.5 MW in Gujarat. It set up 2.1 MW Wind Power Project at Matalpar, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. In addition to the Wind Power Project Development business, Company became an Independent Power Producer in Wind Energy with own generating asset of 2.10 MW commissioned in FY 2016. It commissioned one more WTG of 2.10 Megawatts in its own wind vertical at Porbandar. Also, one WTG of 2.10 Megawatts was erected at Mahuva site at Bhavnagar in Gujarat.The Company formed three LLPs as Project specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in February, 2017 called Mahuva Power Infra LLP , Manar Power Infra LLP Miyani Power Infra LLP. It commissioned 81.9 MW, nearly thrice its capacity in 2018. VG DTL transmission Projects Private Limited and HGV DTL Transmission Projects Private Limited became wholly owned subsidiary Company of the Company effective June 21, 2018 and April 20, 2018, respectively. The Company commissioned 15.3 MW Wind Power Project at the Mahuva Site in 2022 commissioned a 10 MWdc solar power project under the IPP segment in 2023.The Company commissioned a 50 MW wind hybrid CPP project and a 7.8 MW solarhybrid CPP project at Bhungar site, Talaja, a 31.5 MW windhybrid CPP project at Fulsar site, Talaja, a 2.1 MW wind power project at Vanana site, a 210 MW wind power project at Sidhpur site, Devbhoomi Dwarka, and expanded IPP capacity to 19.9 MW in FY 2024.In FY25, Company commissioned a 252 MW project at Sidhpur II site for Apraava Energy, involving the commissioning of 120 Wind Turbine Generators. It completed a 28.6 MW project at the Vagra site. It commissioned a major greenfield capacity expansion at its Matar, Bharuch facility.
