Jain Marmo Industries Limited was originally incorporated in August, 1981 as Oswal Granites Private Limited. It was renamed as Jain Marmo Industries Private Limited in March, 1995 and was subsequently converted into a public limited company in September, 1995. The Company was promoted by the Oswal family of Rajasthan.Jain Marmo was founded in 1981 by Jain Group and is one of the largest producer and processors of Green Serpentine Marble Blocks and Slabs in the world. The Company is headquartered at Udaipur in Rajasthan, the western State of India, which is the hub of stone industry. The Company is now supervised under the strong leadership of Mr. Sanjay Jain and Mr. Sidharth Jain whose dedication towards the work and constant efforts, has given the international market an enchanting variety of Green marble. The Company is engaged in producing, processing trading of Marble Blocks/Slabs/Tiles in domestic as well as international market. It works a well developed green marble quarries with latest equipments in Udaipur region and a state of the art factory using the latest and advanced production techniques at Udaipur. The company set up its first Granite Processing Unit at Makrana, Rajasthan, in 1986. The plant was imported from Caral Mayer, Germany. It is engaged in processing granite slabs and mining and trading in marble blocks.In 1996, the company undertook a project for processing of marble slabs and mining activities at Sukher (Udaipur district), Rajasthan. It came out with a public issue in Apr.96 to partfinance the project.
