Biopol Chemicals Limited was originally incorporated on April 12, 2023 as Biopol Chemicals Private Limited with the Registrar of Companies, Central Registration Centre. Subsequently, Company acquired the sole proprietorship firm of Mr. Santanu Sarkar i.e. M/s. United Chemical Company, pursuant to a Business Takeover Agreement dated September 25, 2023, effective from September 30, 2023. Thereafter, the status of the Company was changed to public limited Company and the name of Company was changed to Biopol Chemicals Limited w.e.f. May 16, 2024.Company is engaged in the business of manufacturing and distribution of specialty chemicals under the categories of silicones, emulsifiers, biochemicals and polyelectrolytes. These products are used in applications across various industry segments, including softeners, emulsions and hardeners for textiles silicone fluids and cleaning chemicals for home care silicone adjuvants and surfactants in agriculture and release agents in industrial chemicals.In addition, Company provides technical consultancy services to customers. Company operates on a businesstobusiness (B2B) model, catering to institutional clients rather than retail endusers. It conduct the business through a combination of direct sales and a network of distributors, o serve customers across both domestic and international markets. In the domestic market, sales are spread across several regions, including West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. While exports have beeny focused on Bangladesh, which is a global hub for textiles and apparel manufacturing. Company is planning the IPO of 33,96,000 equity shares having face value of Rs 10 each through Fresh Issue.
