Bandhan Asset Management Company Limited oversees the operations of Bandhan Mutual Fund. In April 2022, a consortium, comprised of Bandhan Financial Holding (60%), ChrysCapital (20%), and Singapore's Sovereign Fund GIC (20%), successfully acquired IDFC Asset Management Company. Following this acquisition, IDFC Mutual Fund underwent rebranding and emerged as Bandhan Mutual Fund in March 2023.
Originally established in 2000, IDFC Asset Management Company had achieved a notable milestone by 2020, securing a position among India's top 10 asset managers by Assets Under Management (AUM). As of November 2025, the company's AUM stands at Rs. 198,849.48 crores.
