The company recorded a profit before tax of ₹109.60 crores in Q2FY26, reflecting a quarter-over-quarter increase of 26.4% from ₹86.70 crores in Q1FY26. The profit after tax for Q2FY26 was ₹84.80 crores, up 28.9% from ₹65.80 crores in Q1FY26 and a 20.6% increase from ₹70.30 crores in Q2FY25. The earnings per share for the quarter was ₹16.09, showing a quarter-over-quarter rise of 4.2% and a year-over-year increase of 43.8%. These figures highlight a robust enhancement in profitability metrics over both the quarter and the year.

Va Tech Wabag Ltd's total expenses in Q2FY26 amounted to ₹766.50 crores, which is a 16.4% increase from ₹658.60 crores in Q1FY26 and a 22.2% rise from ₹627.00 crores in Q2FY25. The tax expense for the quarter was ₹26.00 crores, up 24.4% from ₹20.90 crores in the previous quarter and 17.6% from ₹22.10 crores in the same quarter last year. These operating metrics indicate the company’s expanding scale of operations, which is reflected in the higher expenses and tax liabilities in line with increased profitability.
