This represents an increase of 8.6% compared to the previous quarter (Q1FY26), which was ₹2248.84 crores, and a year-over-year growth of 1.1% when compared to the same quarter of the previous year (Q2FY25), where total income was ₹2416.62 crores. The profitability of Container Corporation of India Ltd showed a marked improvement in Q2FY26. The earnings per share (EPS) was noted at ₹4.99, which rose by 42.2% from the previous quarter but decreased by 17.0% compared to Q2FY25.

The total expenses for the Container Corporation of India Ltd in Q2FY26 were ₹1944.66 crores, which saw a quarter-over-quarter increase of 2.4% from ₹1899.80 crores in Q1FY26 and a year-over-year rise of 2.9% from ₹1890.55 crores in Q2FY25. The tax expense for Q2FY26 was ₹128.60 crores, which increased by 43.0% from the previous quarter's ₹89.91 crores and by 5.8% from ₹121.50 crores in Q2FY25.
