Important Changes in Derivatives Expiry Dates
As per NSE and BSE circulars dated 23-Jun-2025, please note the following changes in the expiry day for Index and Stock Derivatives contracts.

On NSE:
- The circular will be effective from 28-Aug-2025 (end of day).
- From this date, expiry day for all existing contracts will be revised to the new expiry day.
- Any new contracts created on/after the effective date will follow the revised expiry day as per the table.
- The revised expiry dates for all existing derivatives contracts will be available in the contract file generated on 28-Aug-2025 (end of day) and will apply from 29-Aug-2025.
On BSE:
- Contracts with expiry on or before 31-Aug-2025 will remain unchanged.
- The revised expiry dates for existing Index derivatives (including long-dated options, excluding Sensex weekly contracts) will be available in the contract master file generated on 24-Jun-2025 (end of day), applicable from 25-Jun-2025.
- The revised expiry dates for existing Stock derivatives will be available in the contract master file generated on 10-Jul-2025 (end of day), applicable from 11-Jul-2025.
