Jayatma Enterprises Limited was initially incorporated as private limited company in March, 1979 as Jayatma Spinners Private Limited, which was subsequently converted to public limited company with the name Jayatma Spinners Limited in 1994. Thereafter, the name of the Company was further changed to Jayatma Enterprises Limited in 2019. During last few years, the Companys main operation has been trading activity and has derived revenue from other operations such as Lease License Fees income, interest Dividend income etc. The Company is engaged in manufacturing of cotton i.e. ginning activity and yarn etc. Earlier, the Company was in the operation of investment and Leasing Rental business.In 201819, the Company has changed its main objects of the Company in order to include other business activities. The Board of Directors of the Company in its Board Meeting held on 30/12/2021 had approved the Draft Scheme of Amalgamation of the Company with Jayatma Technologies Private Limited under sections 230 to 232 of the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, and the rules framed thereunder. The Company had filed the application under regulation 37 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 for obtaining approval of the Exchange, which is approved by Exchange/SEBI on 1 st November, 2023. The company had further filled the application before the Honorable National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Ahmedabad Bench for convening meeting of shareholders and creditors for obtaining their approval, which is pending before the NCLT.
