The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture, sale, and distribution of alcoholic beverages including whisky, rum, vodka, brandy, and gin, serving both domestic and export markets.

United Spirits operates through a portfolio of over 100 brands categorised across four price segments: Popular, Prestige, Premium, and Luxury. Its flagship products include McDowell’s No. 1, Royal Challenge, Signature, Antiquity, Black Dog, and Smirnoff. The company has business divisions in manufacturing, bottling, distribution, and retail. It generates revenue through direct product sales in India and exports, franchise fees, licensing of international brands, and royalty income. Strategic partnerships and Diageo's global distribution network further amplify its reach and earnings.
