Rhetan TMT Limited was initially incorporated as Shivani Rolling Mills Private Limited on June 26, 1984 with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat . Further, the Companys name was changed to Shree Ghantakarna Rolling Mills Private Limited on January 3, 1997 by the Registrar of Companies. Further, it renamed to Rhetan Rolling Mills Private Limited on September 12, 2018 and to Rhetan TMT Private Limited vide fresh Certificate of Incorporation on January 7, 2022. It became a Limited Company as Rhetan TMT Limited vide certified on January 19, 2022 by the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad.Promoted by Mr. Shalin Shah, the Company operates a Steel Rolling Mill with an aggregate installed capacity of 30,000 MTPA. It manufacture TMT Bars used in construction industry. Its products have been used in construction of dams, bridges, residential and commercial towers and major infrastructure projects in Gujarat. The plant is functional in Mehsana district of Gujarat. In 1986, the Company commenced production of TMT bars at Manufacturing facility at Kadi, Dist. of Mehsana in Gujarat.In 2001, the Plant was closed down due to financial constrain as well as unfavorable market conditions.In 2017, Company applied to the UGVCL/ Industries Commissioner to reconsider it for eligibility under the Scheme.Later in 2018, Company availed lowtension (LT) load of 13.33 KVA from Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (UGVCL) for carrying out modernization and overhauling of existing Plant and Machinery and for installation of new machinery at the factory site. It again availed hightension (HT) load of 1500 KVA from Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (UGVCL) for Manufacturing.In 2019, Company started the commercial production of TMT bars, making it functional.The Company made an IPO of 80,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each by raising funds aggregating to Rs 56 Cr in August, 2022.New object has been inserted in the Main Object Clause of the MoA of the Company during the FY 202526: To carry on the business of trading, buying, selling, importing, exporting, investing in, arbitraging, hedging and otherwise dealing in commodities of every kind, whether agricultural or nonagricultural, including metals, bullion, minerals, energy products, soft commodities, hard commodities and allied products, in physical form or through spot, forward, futures, options and other derivative or commoditylinked contracts, on recognized or unrecognized markets in India or abroad.
