Nava Limited was formerly known as Nava Bharat Ventures Limited. It is a multinational conglomerate that was founded in 1972. The company's headquarters is in Hyderabad, Telangana. The company began as a ferroalloy manufacturer but has now expanded into energy, mining, agribusiness, healthcare, and many related services. The company operates in India, Zambia, and other international markets. Nava Limited has been listed on stock exchanges since 1996. It is listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE: NAVA) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BOM: 513023).

Nava generates revenue through multiple business segments, including the production and sale of metals and ferroalloys used in industrial applications. It also generates power from coal and biomass. The company is also involved in coal mining operations in Zambia. It is also expanding into agribusiness, including the cultivation of crops such as sugarcane and avocados, while also exploring healthcare businesses. The company earns revenue through product sales, long-term power purchase agreements, and services such as plant operations and maintenance.

1972: Incorporated with a primary focus on ferroalloy manufacturing.
1980s–1990s: Expanded into silico manganese, sugar, and related products.
1989: Began manganese and chrome alloys operations in Kharagprasad, Odisha.

2010: Acquired Maamba Collieries, the largest coal mine in Zambia.
