Mukesh Babu Financial Services Limited was initially incorporated as M/s. Embee Finance and Consultancy Private Limited on February 27, 1985. The name of the Company was changed to Mukesh Babu Financial Services Limited on November 7, 1991. It is registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a nondeposit taking NonBanking Financial Company (NBFC). The subsidiary company, Mukesh Babu Securities Limited is a member of the National Stock Exchange of India, the Stock Exchange, Mumbai and Over the Counter Exchange of India. The Company came out with a Public Issue in March 1995. In 1996, the business volumes of the Company and profits were affected by adverse conditions in the primary and secondary markets on the one hand and the credit restrictions and souring interest rates on the other hand.The Company is a diversified financial services company mainly into investment banking and financing business. It is engaged in investment banking, equity research, merchant banking, leasing, fullyfledged money changing, trading in wholesale debt instruments and in the capital market segment, portfolio management services and equity trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

For the full year FY2026–2027, revenue reached ₹24.06 crore and profit touched at ₹6.33 crore.
