Incorporated in 1985, Veritas (India) Limited is a diversified firm focused on International Trade Distribution of chemicals, petrochemicals, polymers, paper, rubber, and heavy distillates, plus it has diversified into Wind Energy Generation, agriculture, software, and Manufacturing/ warehousing, operating under a model of Enterprise Partnership. The Company is now a subsidiary of Swan Energy Limited since early 2023, evolving its business from basic trading to more integrated services. During 2010, the Company set up two new Wind Mills for Power generation at Tirunelveli Dist. in Tamil Nadu. The Company incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary in the name M/s. Veritas International FZE in UAE during 2013.During 201314, the Company acquired 100% holding in M/s. Kudrat Farming Private Limited and it became the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. Further M/s. Kudrat Farming Private Limited acquired 100% shareholding of M/s. Vidhata Farming Private Limited. Also, M/s. Vidhata Farming Private Limited acquired 100% shareholding of M/s. Veritas Agro Ventures Private Limited.During the year 201516, the Company acquired 100% shareholding in M/s. Veritas Polychem Private Limited and became the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. M/s. Veritas America Trading Inc. became subsidiary of the Company effective August 5, 2015. A new whollyowned subsidiary of the Company, Veritas Petro Industries Private Limited was incorporated w.e.f. 04 May, 2021.In 202223, the Acquirer, Swan Energy Limited entered into a Share Purchase Agreement dated May 20, 2022 with the erstwhile promoters of the Company by which Swan Energy Limited agreed to acquire 55% of the equity share capital of the Company. Swan Energy Limited acquired the said stake in the Company and accordingly, Veritas (India) Limited became a subsidiary w.e.f. January 20, 2023. Subsequently, the Company received the approval letter dated April 27, 2023 from Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) accordingly the current promoter of the Company Swan Energy Limited held 55% of the Equity Share Capital of the Company.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹4103.92 crore and profit touched at ₹113.56 crore.
