TVS Motor Company Ltd, incorporated in 1978, was founded by the TVS Group under the leadership of T. Sundaram Iyengar and family. The company’s registered office is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. TVS Motor is listed on both the NSE (TVSMOTOR) and BSE (532343). As one of India’s leading two- and three-wheeler manufacturers, TVS designs, produces, and sells motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, and electric vehicles. It serves domestic and international markets through an extensive distribution network.

TVS Motor operates across major segments: internal combustion two-wheelers and three-wheelers, electric vehicles, and aftermarket services. Its flagship products include motorcycle models like the Apache series, scooters such as Jupiter, mopeds like the XL100, and electric scooters under the iQube brand.

The revenue model incorporates vehicle sales, OEM and aftermarket parts, export earnings, and interest and fee income from financial services offered to dealers and customers. Additional income streams come from parts, accessories, service contracts, and licensing. This diversified structure, bolstered by R&D investments and robust brand equity, supports sustained domestic and overseas market expansion.
