Steelcast Limited, formerly incorporated as Steelcast Bhavnagar Private Limited on February 11, 1972 was renamed to Steelcast Limited in December, 1988. The Company manufactures specialised steel and alloy steel castings for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across various heavy engineering sectors. With over six decades of experience, the company has developed strong metallurgical capabilities and expertise in producing complex, highperformance castings for demanding industrial applications. Company operates an integrated manufacturing facility in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, with an installed casting capacity of around 30,000 tonnes per annum. Its product portfolio includes carbon steel, low alloy steel, high alloy steel and wearresistant castings, manufactured using advanced NoBake and Shell Moulding processes. The renowned customers include Neyveli Lignite Corporation, Northern Coalfields, Kesoram Cement, NMDC, Raasi Cement, BEML and BHEL. The Company has commissioned its 5 MW Solar Power Plant in Umrala Taluka of Bhavnagar District in Gujarat for captive use effective from March 30, 2023. It has also commissioned 4.5 MW Hybrid (Wind Solar) Power Plant effective on July 8, 2023.The Company implemented automation technologies in production areas like fettling, machining etc., to maximise the output of existing workforce and equipment in FY 2025.In FY26, Company entered into exportoriented defence manufacturing business. It diversified the operations by expanding beyond mining and earthmoving into highpotential segments such as Ground Engaging Tools, construction, railways, and defence.

As of Jun '26, Steelcast’s market capitalisation stood at ₹3,319.87 crores. Shareholding as of Jun '26 shows promoters holding 45%, with FIIs at 0.3%, DIIs at 2.5%, and public at 52.2%.
