Further the Company was converted into Public Limited Company and name of the Company was changed to Solex Energy Limited on September 22, 2017. Headquartered in Gujarat, India, the Company stands as a prominent solar photovoltaic module manufacturer. With the capability to produce modules using advanced MONO PERC and TOPCon technology, Solex offers a diverse product range including Monofacial and Bifacial modules across various power capacities.The Company is engaged providing renewable energy solutions, specialized in the manufacturing of Solar photovoltaic module, solar home light, solar street light, solar lantern, solar power plant, solar invertors, solar water heating systems and wood fired water heater etc. The Company provides the offered appliances in numerous specifications and customization in accordance with the demands of the customers. Solex Energy is an ISO 14001:2015 Certification, ISO 9001:2015 Certification, OHSAS 18001:2007 and CE MARK CERTIFIED offering systems of high quality and reliability. Solex modules are TUV certified tested by the UL India Pvt. Ltd and comply in accordance with the standards.The Companys product ranges from Solar PV Module (3WP 325 WP), Solar Lanterns (CFL LED Base), Solar Home Light System (CFL LED Base), Solar Street Light System (CFL LED Base), Solar OffGrid Power Plant (Solar Rooftop Systems), Solar Grid Connected Power Plant, Solar Water Heater Flat Plant Collector, Solar Water Heater ETC Type, Solar Submersible Pump (AC DC), Solar Surface Pump (DC). It also provides solution for solar roof top system, solar home and rural lighting system, solar power pack and solar power plant. The Products are eligible for Subsidy from Government which is reduced from sales value during the sale of Product and thereafter release to the Company directly from Government.The Company acquired the running business of M/s Sun Energy Systems a proprietorship concern of the Promoter engaged in manufacturing of Solar Panels and other renewable Energy Devices vide business transfer agreement dated November 12, 2014.In January 2018, the Company came up with an Initial Public Offer of 13,80,000 Equity Shares by raising capital aggregating Rs 7.17 Crores.In 2022, the Company launched Global Factory with 1.2 GW Solar Module manufacturing capacity with inhouse reliability test lab. In 2023, the Company launched Solax Brand high efficiency Solar Module globally.The Company produce advanced MonoPERC, TopCON and HJT solar modules, with capacities ranging from 540wp to 750wp, using stateoftheart facility, which is highly automated and driven by Industry 4.0 principles. This integration of big data, robotics, and automation enhances the production efficiency. In addition to manufacturing, Company works comprehensive Solar EPC services, delivering solutions for groundmounted and rooftop installations. It manage solar assets under an Operation Maintenance model, providing a complete suite of products and services to meet customers needs.The Company is serving esteemed international clients such as JINKO (China), AXITEC (Germany), EnbekonGmbH (Africa), MAFNSA and many other domestic clients. Apart from that on EPC front, it has completed many notable projects, such as AMUL, IIMA, Torrent power, ONGC, BREDA, Airport Authority of India in FY 2024.The Company incorporated Solex Green Energy Private Limited as a subsidiary Company in FY202425. In FY 2025, SEL became the first PV module manufacturer to receive the MCS 005 BSI Kitemark certification, unlocking export opportunities in the UK, Europe, and UAE. Commercial production began at its 800 MW module line at Tadkeshwar, increasing total capacity to 1.5 GW. The Company achieved a production milestone of 65,000 modules per month.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹665.82 crore and profit touched at ₹42.79 crore.
