Shiva Cement Limited is engaged in business of manufacture and sale of cement, clinker and trading of allied products. The company is operating its clinkerisation facility with production capacity of 1.50 Mn MT at Kutra near Rajgangpur Odisha and cement grinding unit with production capacity of 1.00 Mn MT at Lapanga village, Sambalpur Odisha. The Company produces Limestone chips three millimeter to six millimeter as an essential input for Sponge Iron plants for desulpherization of steel. The Companys products include PSC Cement, Clinker and Limestone Chips. The Company is a subsidiary of JSW Cement Limited. Shiva Cement Limited (SCL) was incorporated in 1985 and first commercial production commenced in 1986. The manufacturing facility is located at a strategic location in Orissa, with raw material and ready markets in the vicinity. Its natural marketing territory is Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand Bihar states. These states are historically in cement supply deficit, due to poor availability of Limestone reserve. Having realized these potentials, SCL entered into alliance with ACC in the year 2007. ACC participated into equity and nominated two directors on the Board. ACC also entered into marketing alliance with SCL. There after, the Company submitted an expansion plan to Govt. of Odisha to expand the plant capacity upto 2.6 Mn.TPA in two phases. SCL also entered into MOU with Govt. to this effect. Now, it is implementing PhaseI expansion from 0.132 Mn.TPA to 1.0 Mn.TPA. Cement produced was earlier marketed under Sumangal Brand till 2007, but thereafter, it was marketed under ACC brand. It produces 100% Portland Slag Cement (PSC) which is cost effective and environment friendly as well.The Company commissioned a new Clinker Plant, having installed capacity of 1.32 MTPA in June 2023. The Company ramped up the clinker production capacity to 4,000 TPD at Khatkurbahal Mines, Odisha in FY 2024 and commissioned the Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS), power line and a limestone crushing plant.In 2026, the Company has commissioned a 1 MTPA Grinding Unit at Sambalpur, Orissa.
