Pidilite Industries is one of India's leading adhesive technology companies. They also manufacture waterproofing items and pigments.

The company's products are available in India and in other geographies. It is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BOM: 500331) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE: PIDILITIND).

Pidilite Industries has built a diverse portfolio which serves both household needs and large-scale industrial applications. Their business lines include woodworking adhesives, waterproofing solutions, tile and stone fixing solutions, decorative paints, industrial products and wood finishes, among others.

They also make art, stationery and fabric care items. This makes them a key player across multiple segments. Some of their popular products are:

  • 1959: Pidilite established and launched their flagship product, Fevicol
  • 1963: Set up their first modern manufacturing unit in Mumbai
  • 1997: Ascended to the annual top 15 brands of India in the FE Brandwagon Year Book
  • 2000: Acquired M-Seal, the leading brand of epoxy compounds
  • 2001: Diversified product portfolio with Dr Fixit.
  • 2005: Incorporated Pidilite Pte Ltd in Singapore to anchor its international operations and overseas acquisitions
  • 2006: Went global by acquiring Tristar Colman and setting up an R&D Centre in Singapore
  • 2016: Established a joint venture with Italian company Industria Chimica Adriatica S.p.A. (ICA) under the name ICA Pidilite
  • 2017: Partnered with Jowat SE to produce Thermoplastic Hot Melt Adhesives for industrial usage
  • 2018: Acquired 70% stake in CIPY Polyurethanes Pvt. Ltd. for ₹96 crore
  • 2019: Celebrated 60 years of operations in India
  • 2020: Acquired Araldite, Huntsman Group’s Indian subsidiary
  • 2024: Launched an interior decorative paints range as Haisha Paints. Also, began manufacturing Jowat Hot Melt Adhesives from Germany in India.
  • Reduction in freshwater withdrawal intensity by 70% from baseline by 2030.
  • Increase in overall renewable energy consumption to 70% from baseline by 2030.
  • 50% decrease in usage of virgin plastic, from 0.063 MT/MT in FY18-19 to 0.031 MT/MT in FY24-25.
  • 74% decrease in the overall intensity of waste disposal to 5.25 kg/MT in FY24-25.
  • 53% sustainably sourced input materials in FY25.
  • Zero occupational incidents and illness with an injury rate of 0.03 per 100 workers in FY24-25 as against 0.05 per 100 workers in FY18-19.
  • Bagged the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Industrial Innovation Award in 2025.
  • Earned the Bronze Effie in Sri Lanka for Dr Fixit in 2024.
  • Won the prestigious 'Packaging Design' Award for Haisha Paints at the CII Design Summit in 2023.
