Kalana Ispat Limited was originally incorporated as Kalana Ispat Private Limited, a private limited company, with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, Dadra and Nagar Havelli, dated on October 15, 2012. Subsequently, it converted from a private company into a public company, and the name was changed to Kalana Ispat Limited, and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated December 21, 2023 was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad. The Company started the operations in 2012. Initially the Companys was engaged in trading of metal scraps, which was procured through imports from various countries, sourced from shipbreaking yards and local merchants. As the business progressed, Company ventured into manufacturing of M.S. Billets and set up its manufacturing unit at Ahmedabad in February, 2015 and further installed Billet Caster machine in August, 2015. At present, Company is engaged in manufacturing of M.S. Billets/Ingots and Alloy Steel Billets/Ingots and is operating an installed capacity of 38000 M.T. It operates in two major segments, viz. sale of products manufactured by it and sale of services as Job Work services.Company came up with a public issue of 49,38,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each and raised a fresh issue of 32.59 crores on September 23, 2024.In 202526, Company established a 1.4 MW Ground Mounted Solar Power Plant at Bhabhar, Dist. Banaskantha, including a dedicated 1 MW Ground Mounted Solar Power Plant for proposed Rolling Mill project situated at Survey No. 452, Khata No. 280, Khegariya Taluka. It expanded the manufacturing infrastructure for the production of Alloy Steel Round Bars.
