Inducto Steel Limited (ISL) was incorporated in the State of Gujarat in November, 1988. ISL is currently a diversified company in ship breaking activities and trades in metal scrap, coals, aluminum foil, coal other inputs. At present the Company has partnership with M/s. Calvin Divine Enterprises with 20% share and M/s. Shree Balaji Associates with 5% share. During the year 199697, production was affected due to the fire in the plant of the company. In the same year company came out with a public issue of 23,36,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/ each for cash at par. Due to the sluggish market condition the company incurred a loss of Rs.9.41 lakhs in the year 19992000. In period 200708, Inducto Technocastings Private Limited and Hariyana Industrial Gases Private Limited amalgamated with the Company through the Scheme of Amalgamation made effective on 27th August 2007.During financial year 201718, the Company started its business activities in Trading in Bhavnagar during 2018. During the financial year 202324, the ShipBreaking Unit at Alang Ship Breaking Yard, Bhavnagar marked as key operational unit due to volatile prices of old ships, fluctuations in iron and steel products market and currency movements of the Indian Rupee against the US Dollar.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹158.94 crore and profit touched at ₹-3.72 crore.
