JSW Cement Limited was incorporated on March 29, 2006 vide Certificate of incorporation, with the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. The Company received a Certificate of Commencement of Business on May 12, 2006 issued by the RoC. JSW Cement Limited is a cement manufacturing company in India focused on manufacturing green cementitious products comprising blended cement which includes Portland Slag Cement (PSC) and Portland Composite Cement (PCC)) and Gound Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS). The Company manufacture ordinary Portland cement (OPC), clinker and a range of allied cement products such as readymix concrete (RMC), screened slag, construction chemicals and waterproofing compounds.The Company commissioned manufacturing unit in Vijayanagar, Karnataka in 2009 and later in 2012, it commissioned another unit in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh. In 2015, it acquired a cement manufacturing unit with an installed capacity of approximately 0.60 MTPA in Raigad, Maharashtra from JSW Steel Limited. It commissioned the 2.4 MTPA expansion of manufacturing unit at Vijayanagar, Karnataka in 2017 and then acquired majority shareholding in Shiva Cements Limited, based in Sundargarh, Odisha.2.4 MTPA manufacturing unit at Salboni, West Bengal commissioned in 2018 and 1.2 MTPA expansion unit at Raigad, Maharashtra was commissioned. The Company further commissioned Clinkerization Unit with a capacity of 3000 TPD (equivalent to 0.99 MTPA)in Fujairah, UAE in 2020. The Company in 2022, erected the debottlenecking facilities in Vijayanagar, Karnataka and thereafter, expanded the installed capacity at Salboni Unit in West Bengal comprising of debottlenecking and the transfer of a ball mill from the Nandyal Plant. It acquired 100% stake in Springway Mining Private Limited in 202122. In 2023, the Company commissioned a 4,000 TPD capacity clinkerization unit at Shiva Cement Limited, Sundargarh, Odisha and further commissioned the 2MTPA expansion of its manufacturing unit in Raigad, Maharashtra. In FY24, it commissioned the 2MTPA expansion of Vijayanagar Unit, in Karnataka and again commissioned 4000 TPD clinkerization unit (line II) in JSW Cement FZC in Fujairah, UAE in FY 2025.The Company came up with its initial public offering by issuing 244,897,958 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each, by raising funds aggregating to Rs 3600 crores, consisting a fresh issue of 108,843,537 equity shares aggregating to Rs 1600 crores and the offer for sale of 136,054,421 equity shares aggregating to Rs 2000 crores on August 11, 2025.The Nagaur Integrated Cement Plant in Rajasthan has been commissioned in FY 2026, which increased the total clinkerisation capacity to 9.74 MTPA, with grinding capacity having 24.1 MTPA.

For the full year FY2026–2027, revenue reached ₹6664.86 crore and profit touched at ₹-829.56 crore. As of Jun '26, JSW Cement’s market capitalisation stood at ₹19,219.36 crores. Shareholding as of Jun '26 shows promoters holding 72%, with FIIs at 3.7%, DIIs at 11.5%, and public at 11.8%.
