Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) is a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. It was incorporated in March 1988 (CIN: L63011DL1988GOI030915) and commenced operations in November 1989, taking over a network of seven Inland Container Depots (ICDs) from Indian Railways. Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR)’s core business comprises two distinct activities: carrier and terminal operator.

As a carrier, rail is the mainstay of its transportation strategy; the majority of terminals are rail-linked, with road services provided for first- and last-mile connectivity.

As a terminal and CFS operator, CONCOR’s network of 67 terminals includes four export-import container depots, four strategic tie-ups, 24 exclusive domestic container depots, and 35 combined domestic and international terminals. These custom-bonded Inland Container Depots function as dry ports, bringing Customs clearance and port facilities to the customer’s doorstep.

CONCOR also offers warehousing and value-added logistics services, including transit warehousing, bonded warehousing, less than Container Load (LCL) consolidation, and air cargo clearance using bonded trucking. A single-window facility co-ordinates across customs, gateway ports, railways, road hauliers, consolidators, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.

CONCOR Last Mile Logistics Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary incorporated on 6 January 2020, strengthens first- and last-mile connectivity through a digital app-based, multi-vendor reverse auction platform.
