Barflex Polyfilms Limited was originally incorporated as Hitkari Polyfilms Private Limited with the Registrar of Companies on January 24, 2005. Subsequently, the name if the Company was changed to Barflex Polyfilms Private Limited on June 30, 2005. Company has converted to a Public Limited Company and the name has changed to Barflex Polyfilms Limited, dated February 22, 2024.The Company engaged in manufacturing of COEX films, laminates and labels. It manufacture flexible packaging material suitable for packaging products in FMCG industry, processed foods, adhesive, engineering, pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics, construction industry and others. At present, it manufacture 3layer poly films, 5layer poly films, laminates, vacuum pouches, 5layer bulk liners and PVC shrink labels. The installed production capacity of the new unit is 50 MT / PA for PVC Films and Sleeve and 9,650 MT / PA for Plastic Films and Laminated Pouches. In 2008, the Company expanded its business operations by setting up a manufacturing UnitII. The installed capacity of Unit II was to manufacture PVC shrink sleeves 950 MT per annum . It further set up an additional manufacturing unit at Plot No 15, in Solan District of Himachal Pradesh to manufacture PVC stretch and plastic films and pouches at 865 MT per annum.In 2010, it set up a plant at C44, Noida, PhaseII (Uttar Pradesh) to manufacture flexible packaging products. In 201112, the Company enhanced the installed capacity of UnitII to manufacture pouches, plastic film, laminates, PVC shrink sleeves is 3000 MT per annum.Company launched the IPO by issuing an aggregate of 65,68,000 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each by raising funds aggregating to Rs 39.40 Crore comprising a fresh issue of 20,52,000 equity shares aggregating to Rs 12.31 Cr and 45,16,000 equity shares aggregating to Rs 27.09 Crore through offer for sale in January, 2025.The Company commenced operations at a new manufacturing unit in Solan District of Himachal Pradesh in FY26. The Company has acquired 100% of the equity share capital of Rohit Poly Foams Private Limited making it a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company effective from April 9, 2026.
