Bajaj Electricals Ltd was incorporated on July 14, 1938, by Kamalnayan Bajaj. Headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, it is a public company listed on NSE (BAJAJELEC) and BSE (500031). As a part of the Bajaj Group, it manufactures and distributes consumer appliances, fans, lighting solutions, and also undertakes large-scale engineering and EPC projects in power transmission and infrastructure.

The company operates through three key verticals:

  • Consumer Products: Domestic appliances, fans, cookware, and kitchen solutions.
  • Lighting Solutions: LED lamps, luminaires, street lighting, and professional lighting systems.
  • EPC and Engineering: Power transmission towers, poles, high-mast lighting, and solar energy projects.

Revenue is primarily generated through the sale of manufactured products and engineering contracts. A significant portion comes from government infrastructure projects under the EPC vertical, while the consumer and lighting segments contribute through B2C and B2B sales across India. The company also benefits from licensing partnerships, such as with Morphy Richards.
