Asian Hotels (West) Limited was originally incorporated on January 8, 2007 as a Private Limited Company with the name Chillwinds Hotels Private Limited. On August 25, 2007, Company was converted into a Public Limited Company and the name of the Company changed to Chillwinds Hotels Limited. Post the demerger, the name of the Company was further changed to Asian Hotels (West) Limited dated February 12, 2010. The Company owns and operates hotels.The company entered into a scheme of arrangement and demerger with Asian Hotels Ltd (now known as Asian Hotels (North) Ltd) and Vardhman Hotels Ltd (now known as Asian Hotels (East) Ltd) which became effective on February 11, 2010. Pursuant to the scheme of arrangement and demerger, the Mumbai undertaking comprising of Hotel Hyatt Regency, Mumbai along with shares held in Aria Hotels Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd of the Asian Hotels Ltd was demerged and vested in the company. Upon the effectiveness of the Scheme, Aria Hotels and Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd became the subsidiary of the company. In September 2010, the company acquired 16.38% stake in Inovoa Hotels and Resorts Ltd.The companys subsidiary, Aria Hotels and Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd commenced its operations during October 2013. The Company, operating in the hospitality sector, has concluded its Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), marking a significant turning point in its business trajectory in 202425. Historically engaged in providing lodging, and event hospitality, the company owns and/or manages strategically located properties catering to both leisure and business travelers. Prior to insolvency, it faced financial distress due to a combination of high operating costs, declining occupancy rates, and external shocks such as the COVID19 pandemic, which significantly impacted the travel and tourism sector. It is repositioning itself to meet current consumer trends such as digital booking, sustainable hospitality, and personalized guest experiences.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹420.51 crore and profit touched at ₹39.8 crore.
