Industry Outlook
The country has around 2-3 amusement parks per 1 crore population against roughly 6 per 1 crore globally, and average footfall per Indian park sits between 1 million and 2 million a year against 13.5 million to 17.3 million globally.
South India leads the domestic market by share. The region is projected to reach ₹58.8 billion by CY29P at a CAGR of 16% from CY24, ahead of West India at ₹43.9 billion and a CAGR of 15.8%, supported by developed tourism infrastructure and a climate that permits year-round operation.
The Company's Athirappilly Theme Park sits in Kerala, within the South Indian market. Its catchment spans Kerala and nine urban centres in Tamil Nadu, covering a population of over 50 million people.
About Silverstorm Parks and Resorts
Silverstorm Parks and Resorts was incorporated in Kochi, Kerala on October 07, 1998 and commenced park operations in 2000. Its Athirappilly Theme Park in Thrissur district, Kerala is spread across 17.38 acres and featured 41 low-to-high thrill rides, three restaurants, and an eight-room resort under the Silver Storm Resort brand as of March 31, 2026. The park lies about 27 km from Cochin International Airport and about 20 km from Chalakudy Railway Station. In 2017, the Company launched Snow Storm, described in the CARE Report as Kerala's first indoor snow park, spread over approximately 10,000 square feet and maintained at -10°C with independent ticketing.
Footfalls totalled 6.71 lakhs, 5.14 lakhs, and 4.24 lakhs for Fiscal 2026, Fiscal 2025, and Fiscal 2024. Average revenue per user rose to ₹649.70 in Fiscal 2026 from ₹444.96 in Fiscal 2024. In October 2025, its subsidiary Snow Storm Parks Private opened a 5,183 square foot snow park at the P & M Hi-Tech city centre mall in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. A third facility, the Lucknow Snow Park and FEC at Omaxe Hazratganj Mall in Uttar Pradesh, spans more than 11,000 square feet and is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of Fiscal 2027.
Strengths of Silverstorm Parks and Resorts
- India’s first integrated fun destination offering amusement cum water park, snow park, cable car and resort at a strategic tourist location.
- Established track record with over two and a half decades of market presence and brand recognition.
- Experienced promoters and dedicated senior management team with industry knowledge.
- Strong institutional marketing and regional sales network.
- High safety and hygiene standards.
- Prudent capital allocation and consistent financial performance.
Risks of Silverstorm Parks and Resorts
- The Athirappilly Theme Park generated 95.70% of revenue from operations in Fiscal 2026, so flooding, power loss, or local disruption at that single site would halt most of the Company's earnings.
- Footfalls concentrate in the third and fourth quarters around school tours and festive periods, leaving quarterly revenue exposed to adverse weather and to shifts in school and examination calendars.
- The Company has not entered into annual maintenance contracts for its machinery, buildings, or equipment other than the diesel generator set, so a breakdown during peak season could close attractions and raise repair costs.
